STUDY ON THE DEVELOPMENTAL MORPHOLOGY OF HUMAN TUBERCLE BACILLUS
¼ÛÈ£¼º(áäûÇàø)/Ho Seung Song
Abstract
Study on the Developmental Morphology of Human Tubercle Bacilli, liquid media in
test tubes, stained by Zieldl-Neelsen and modified nuclear staining technique. The
following observations have been made.
Human Tubercle Bacilli not only grow by budding from one end but from both ends.
Chromatin-bodies, stained clear, change in number and arrangement depending on the
age of the Human Tubercle Bacilli.
The possibility of longitudinal division in addition to transverse division of cell has
been seen while observing the changes in morphology of Tubercle Bacilli
Chromatin-bodies in defferent periods of life cycle.
Cordformation of Tubercle Bacilli appeares to be baced on laongitudinal division and
cord factor.
Branching of Tubercle Bacilli has been seldom seen, if observed, the branching
originated froms pecial large Chromatin-bodies.
